Norwegian Pride: Larvikite is named after the Larvik region in Norway, where it was first discovered. It's often dubbed the "National Stone of Norway". Larvikite belongs to the monzonite family of rocks and is believed to have formed over 290 million years ago during the late Permian age.

Blue Sheen: The stone's striking blue iridescence, known as schiller, is due to the reflection of light from its internal crystal structures.
